Aerosol Technology 101
Our flagship program provides a comprehensive introduction to Aerosol Technology as it is applied in the design, testing, approval, and manufacture consumer aerosol products.
Part 1 explores key aerosol formulations concepts, propellant options, valve system fundamentals, container options, corrosion testing, and the latest innovations shaping the aerosol industry.
Part 2 offers an in-depth look at the aerosol pressurization and testing process. Topics include crimping, propellant charging, and a review of standard quality and safety checks. Safety considerations—especially when working with flammable propellants—are emphasized throughout the program. Program content is customized to align with each client’s specific training needs, ensuring maximum relevance and value.

The Aerosol Laboratory focuses on the use of the aerosol lab to produce samples used in testing and evaluation. Participants learn the techniques to crimp and fill individual aerosols.
Product & Package Development is an advanced program that focuses on the research and development of aerosol products. Topics include select and testing of product/package systems, valve options, propellant systems, and more.

Quality Assurance
This module covers common procedures and equipment used to test aerosol products, along with methods for trouble-shooting quality related issues and customer complaints. Root cause analysis techniques are applied to problems such as no spray conditions, poor spray performance, and package leakage.
